After 25 years we quit backyard chooks last August and since then the chook area has been standing there like a relic from the past and this year I started storing stuff in there. We have decided to get a backyard Pod as a stay over for family and friends so the chicken annex needs to be dismantled to make room. The actual chook run will remain and be converted to a covered patio area.
To get started I am removing the chook annex and the veggie boxes including the shade mesh.
Haven’t been able to do any outside job for the last two days.
After weeding this garden bed in the last session we can lay down mulch digested by the Ryobi shredder.
2006-2021 RIP
Last week I did weeding along the back of the house and then mulched the garden bed with Ryobi shredder tree pruning’s which will hopefully reduce the need for weeding.
Just pruned these two with the Ryobi secateurs and once again I forgot to snap the ‘before photo’ photo.
Came zooming into the balcony and tail already started deflating by the time I grabbed the phone lol.
Moving on from the Lilly Pillies (in the background) we are prepping to prune the Lemon tree.
